This may include sensitive personal preferences (e.g. faith, beliefs) that help tailor your Ambible experience.
• Community Content: Text, images, or other content you post in public forums, chat groups, or community features. You are responsible for what you share; such user-generated content may be visible to others.
• AI Interaction Data: Inputs you provide to our AI/chatbot features (e.g. questions for spiritual guidance) and the AI-generated outputs. We may log these for service improvement.
• Usage and Device Data: Information from your device or browser (e.g. IP address, device ID, operating system, location), and usage data (e.g. pages visited, features used, timestamps) through cookies and analytics. This helps us understand and improve our service.
• Other Data: Any other information you submit (e.g. feedback, support requests) and aggregated or anonymized data derived from the above that does not identify you.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for purposes consistent with our mission to serve your spiritual and community needs:

• Service Delivery: To provide and personalize Ambible's features (e.g. match you with relevant prayers or content, respond to AI queries, enable social interactions).
• Improvement and Analytics: To analyze usage trends, improve our platform and AI models, and develop new features. We may aggregate or anonymize data for these purposes.
• Communications: To send you confirmations, updates, newsletters, or responses to your inquiries.
• Community Facilitation: To moderate forums and maintain the safety of our community.
• Legal Compliance and Protection: To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or other misconduct, to enforce our Terms, and to comply with laws (e.g. by responding to legal requests).

3. Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your personal data only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers and Partners: With trusted third parties who perform services for us (e.g. cloud hosting, analytics, customer service, payment processing). These parties are contractually bound to keep data secure and use it only for agreed purposes.
• Affiliates and Business Transfers: With our subsidiaries or in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization of our business (with confidentiality obligations).
• Legal Obligations: If required by law enforcement, court order, or regulation (e.g. by the Indian Data Protection Board or other authorities). We will notify you unless prohibited.
• Community Content: Your profile and any community posts you make may be visible to other users. We do not claim ownership of your user-generated content, but by posting you grant Ambible a license to display and distribute it within the service. Ambible is not responsible for third-party use of your publicly posted content.

When sharing outside India (e.g. our servers or service providers in the U.S. or Europe), Ambible ensures appropriate safeguards are in place. For example, when transferring EU users' data, we rely on GDPR-compliant mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to maintain an "equivalent level of protection" to that in the EEA.

4. AI and Automated Services

Ambible includes generative AI features (e.g. spiritual chatbots, guidance generators). These services use your inputs to produce automated content.

5. Community and User-Generated Content

Ambible is a faith-based community platform. When you post, share, or communicate on Ambible, you do so at your own risk. We do not endorse or guarantee any user content. We have community guidelines and may remove content that violates them, but we cannot monitor or verify all content.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Ambible respects and facilitates your data protection rights. In accordance with the DPDP Act and other applicable laws, you have the following rights:

• Right of Access: You can request a copy of your personal data held by Ambible.
• Right to Correction: You can correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Right to Deletion: You can request erasure of your personal data if it is no longer needed, or if you withdraw consent, subject to legal exceptions.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time (with the same ease as giving it).
• Right to Portability: You may request a machine-readable copy of your data or transfer of your data to another service (where technically feasible).
• Right to Object or Restrict: You may object to certain processing (e.g. direct marketing or profiling) or request restriction of processing, as permitted by law.
• Grievance Redressal: You can lodge a complaint with Ambible's Data Protection Officer (see below) or with the applicable supervisory authority. In India, you may file a complaint with the Data Protection Board once it is established.
• Children's Data: We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without verifiable parental consent. For any minor's data we process, we will rely on parental consent. Parents can withdraw consent on a minor's behalf.

If you are a California (or applicable jurisdiction) resident, you also have rights under CCPA/CPRA: to know what categories of personal information we collect, delete that information, and opt-out of any future "sale" or sharing of personal data. (Currently Ambible does not sell personal information.) Ambible will not discriminate against any user for exercising these rights.

To exercise your rights or make privacy inquiries, contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) at the address or email provided below. We will verify your identity and respond to verified requests within applicable timeframes (generally 30 days). As required by law, we have published our DPO or designated contact information on our website and in privacy communications.

7. Data Security and Retention

Ambible implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. For example, we use encryption, access controls, secure servers, and regularly review our security practices. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above, or as required by law. Once data is no longer needed (e.g. you delete your account, withdraw consent, or we have fulfilled the service purpose), we will securely delete or anonymize it. In the event of a data breach, Ambible will notify the Indian Data Protection Board (when constituted) and each affected user without undue delay, as mandated by the DPDP Act.

8. International Transfers

Ambible's users are global, so your data may be transferred or accessed outside India (e.g. to our U.S. or EU servers or partners). When transferring personal data internationally, Ambible takes steps to ensure legal compliance. For European users, we comply with GDPR Chapter V (using adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses) so that protections "remain the same" as in the EEA. We will also comply with any future rules on cross-border data transfer under Indian law.

9. Children's Privacy

Ambible's services are not intended for children under 18 (India) or 16 (EU), and we do not knowingly collect data from minors without consent. If we learn we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child below the legal age without parental consent, we will promptly delete it. Parents or guardians who become aware of such data may contact us to have it removed.

10. Legal Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

No Warranty: Ambible and its affiliates provide the service on an "as-is" basis. Except as required by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied) of any kind regarding the service, content, or results. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content (including AI outputs or community posts), and any use of Ambible is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ambible will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data, arising from your use of Ambible or reliance on any content. Ambible's total aggregate liability for claims under this policy shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) for the service in the past 6 months. Nothing in this policy limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Ambible and its users mutually agree that any dispute arising under this Privacy Policy will be governed by Indian law. Except where prohibited by local law, you and Ambible waive any right to a court trial; all disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in India according to the Arbitration and Conciliation Act. You waive the right to a class action or jury trial in any such dispute.

12. Changes to This Policy

Ambible may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in law or our practices. We will post the revised policy on our website/app with a new Effective Date. Continued use of Ambible after changes indicates your acceptance. If required by law, we will obtain your consent for significant changes.
